Cold Plasma

A technology platform shaped by industrial needs.

Cold plasma is a core area of technical focus at Reyhan. We connect application assessment, equipment development and industrial integration planning, with the operating environment and validation requirements guiding each project.

Where we apply it

Two active application areas, and room for a third.

Each application is assessed against its own operating requirements. Performance in one setting is not evidence of performance in another.

Food & Packaging

Our development activities include cold plasma treatment within food packaging. The work is directed towards pilot development and application evaluation, considering the food, packaging material, treatment conditions and integration needs. Performance and product suitability must be established for the specific application.

Plastics & Surface Processing

Our equipment activities include corona systems for plastics processing, alongside electrostatic equipment requirements. We consider the substrate, production line, intended surface function and operating constraints when defining the equipment brief.

Further Industrial Applications

New requirements begin with a feasibility discussion. We assess the problem, material and process context before defining an appropriate test or development programme.

Common questions

Two things people ask first.

Can an existing line be considered?

Yes. Share the process layout, materials, operating conditions and desired outcome so that integration constraints can be assessed.

How does a project begin?

With a defined application brief and an initial technical discussion. The next stage may be feasibility assessment, testing, pilot development or equipment adaptation.

Before you write

Describe the process, not just the goal.

Integration constraints usually decide whether an application is practical. The earlier we see them, the better the answer.

Assessing cold plasma for an application?

Send the process context and we will outline a realistic first step.
